Established in 2024, Whanake Rangitāne o Manawatū Trust is a charitable trust dedicated to uplifting and supporting the wellbeing of Rangitāne o Manawatū iwi, hapū, and the wider hapori within our rohe. 

Our kaupapa is guided by the values of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, kotahitanga, and rangatiratanga - working collectively to strengthen our people, our identity, and our connections to te taiao and te ao Māori while being pono and tika in all that we do. 

The name 'Whanake' means to grow, to move onwards and upwards. This reflects our commitment to the collective growth and wellbeing of Rangitāne uri and the wider community we serve.
